THE eV&B BULLETIN
The Ordination of David Mantock
eV&B Bulletin: January 7, 2009
New Year’s salutations in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord! I hope that you thoroughly enjoyed the holiday season, and are anticipating a wonderful year
of spiritual growth and development.
On November 23, 2008, our church in Baton Rouge held an ordination
service for David Mantock. It was a joyful occasion and the highlight of a special season of fellowship with
David and Beatrice during the Thanksgiving holiday. God bless you, Rev. Mantock, in your continued service to the
Lord of glory. In December, the Sullivan family had the joy of attending the wedding of Jennifer Duris, the eldest
daughter of Dave and Sue Duris, to David Wesolowski. We were specially gladdened to see many of our friends from
the northwest region of Florida, and enjoyed church services at the home of Steve and Judy Ransom of Panama
City.
A new calendar year is upon us and the work of the ministry continues. On Monday,
January 12, I depart for a return mission to Matebete Village in Tanzania. Daniel Bucher of Switzerland will join
me in Amsterdam. It has been over a year since I last visited Matebete with Rev. Pyle. I am especially hopeful to
see that "all things work together for good," and that I can continue to build on the good foundation of our
previous missions. WTWH is especially pleased to be contributing towards the building of a Historical and Worship
Center for the Maasai villagers, which will be named in honor of the late Rev. Yohana Lewang’an N’gekee. Daniel and
I would greatly appreciate your prayers for the prosperity of our mission and for our families at home.
As of this writing, there are two more seminars confirmed for 2009. In March, I
will be returning to western Kenya to present my seminar on the spiritual gifts, In the Power of His Might. The
preparations for this class are being handled by our friend Winfred Amwayi of Kakamega, and Pastor Pius Masikana of
Bungoma, whom we met on our last mission to Nairobi. I am also very happy to announce a presentation of this class
in Vienna, Austria, this summer, hosted by Rudi and Olesya Illavský.
The Workers Together With Him webpage is undergoing a major overhaul in design,
thanks to David and Beatrice, with the added counsel of Rev. Todd Pekel of Greece and of course Rudi, who designed
the current webpage.
I look forward to unveiling the new look. I had some computer problems this
winter, and so the last bit of pre-publication work on my new book will have to wait until I return from Africa.
Until then, may God continue to bless and keep you.
