THE VINE AND BRANCHES NEWSLETTER

The Vine and Branches, the newsletter of Workers Together With Him, derives its name from a beautiful parable taught by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5)

The fruitfulness of your Christian walk depends entirely upon your relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether we bring forth "much fruit" or "do nothing" depends on whether or not we abide in the Lord. But how it that accomplished? Jesus said we will abide in him when his words abide in us.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (v.7)

The word of Christ should dwell in us richly, not sparingly.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Colossians 3:16)

It is truly a glory to God when his people manifest fruitful lives.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. (John 15:8)

When his words abide in us, we keep his commandments. When we keep his commandments, we abide in his love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (v. 10)

To this end, that we abide in Christ that our fruit may abound, we present the newsletter of Workers Together With Him, The Vine and Branches.

The Vine and Branches is really more than a newsletter. It is a "Good news" letter. It is filled with gospel messages (indexed on our Sermons page). The Vine and Branches also contains mission reports, testimonies and sharings from Christians from the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa.

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
(Proverbs 25:25)
